Surely BT Openzone is just another wifi connection; now gone 02 users have less choice?

I too am mystified by this comment. BT gives me free wifi via many thousands of points around the UK, a facility now denied to O2 users.

telefonica seem in freefall, they failed to get 2.6ghz 4g also. Although apparently they will be using some from BT so they still seem to have a working relationship with BT and the fact BT are providing the backbone for O2s 4G also.
