how to keep phone tethered?

Hi All,

I have a mobile that I tether, and I have a router with normal adsl on. Would like to keep my adsl on as my family connect to it. I tether my phone to pc, it connects, works fine.. but every now and again the connection drops and my phone uses the adsl connection again..

Is there a way to force my pc to use my tethered connection, and my adsl can run in background so family can use it?

Unplug the Ethernet connection to the PC, or turn off its wireless.

That forces PC to use its only remaining connection the tethered phone and as there is a router for everyone else they should still have internet access

I will unplug the ethernet connection, as I don't use the wireless, but everyone else does. Seems like this would work, thank you
