EE 4G Mobile Broadband - Repeated 50Mb Usage

Hi

I use an EE 4G SIM card to create a broadband linked WiFi network in my house.

It basically works well - but my data allowance is being eaten up by repeated 50Mb usages - some just two or three minutes apart. I'm sure that this isn't email / web browsing - but neither I nor EE know what it is for.

Has anyone else found the same issue? Any thoughts / clues? Any likely culprits. Apple Photostream or Dropbox could be part of the problem - but that is just a hunch.

last time I ever had issues like that was with my galaxy note (mobile) and it was icloud syncing my whole inbox repeatedly.. Hope this helps.

Hi - did you ever get to the bottom of this? We've installed an EE 4G SIM in a router yesterday morning and by the end of the day we'd used 10Gb (just half a dozen of us in a small office), and this morning we'd used 49Gb (of a 50Gb) limit. Logged into EE and see that there's repeated 50Mb chunks.

I'm seeing the same thing on my EE 4G MiFi. There are various devices connected to it but I think it's my iPhone 5s which is the culprit. I can't figure out which app is causing it.
