Can't transfer a number to this SIM though, so will need another phone if you want to be able to use existing number for recieving calls/texts.

Hmm, sorry, I think that's rubbish, I misread the page frown

Oh right so at the end of the 60 days, the sim goes dead if you don't want to stay with EE??

Well, it's a PAYG sim, so yes if you don't continue with them.

T&C here

Note, as well, no included calls or texts, you need to top up to get those.

EE LTE is fantastic in my area. Dug out an old PAYG sim a couple of days ago to test the network again. Can't wait for the new sim to come now.

Just inserted the D & P SIM. Not paid a penny and got 'straight' (after delay finding weaker EE signal than O2 here) onto Net w/out activating anything.

No outgoing calls or SMS as I haven't topped up but can get incoming just like any PAYG SIM.

Data works over 3G or even lower.

Ordered!

This will be an excellent backup for Broadband over the holiday period, specially as I will be on the move too.

To be honest, I've been massively impressed with EE LTE in and around Aberdeen

My average speedtests are between 40-60mbps, never below 12. and here is one i did the other day in Ellon (not even on the EE map as LTE)

http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/a/1058453299 I'd call that pretty impressive, given the fact the house i did that in can only get up to 3mbps on ADSL

All in With EE!

Very impressed with their coverage so far. They are slower than in most areas but 4G is literally everywhere. They have opened up a BIG lead so far.

Are these sims 'double speed' enabled?

mine arrived, took about 4 hours for sim to activate. I get 7mb/s no top up or anything needed, tethered it to pc, free internet for 2months.

Well so far i get 4-5Mbps and only H+

i have to go outside and walk a bit to get any 4G signal when i go its 40Mbps or higher.

well maybe i'll use it at work where our actual connection is 1Mbps/0.2Mbps

SKY FTTC - 40/10
