Using Voxi for home broadband?

[link to this post]

My Dad's fibre disconnects multiple times a day and Openreach refuse to fix it because they can't easily run a new line as it's buried instead of ducted.

He mainly used it for light web browsing and Netflix/Amazon.

Voxi offer unlimited streaming with an add-on, could he use that SIM in a Huawei B310 and be able to use an Amazon fire stick without it recording as usage?

Assuming I can get around the age requirement.

Or you could just get a three unlimited data SIM for £24 a month if I'm correct or is it 27 now and just have that instead with no worries about data no matter what you're using

They recently announced they've removed tethering restrictions

That doesnt mean that it doesn't count to your allowance though, 100gb on the £20/month package won't last that long if you're streaming.

Another thing to consider which might be important is that I thought that three limited the Netflix throughput/bandwidth as a mobile phone contract they expect it to be a phone doing the streaming and there isnt much point sending a UHD stream when on a small screen, where as I have one of their proper HomeFi sims and I use that to get UHD on Netflix via my TV as I dont have fibre and only a poor ADSL line.

Wouldn't need UHD, HD would be fine.

The last I saw you quoted £24 or £27, not necessarily what you were on.
