BT not going to use Huawei 5G core equipment

[link to this post]
still plans to use the Chinese company's phone mast antennas and other products deemed not to be at the "core" of the service.

BT also confirmed that it was stripping out Huawei equipment from the core of its existing 3G and 4G networks, as revealed by the Financial Times
That's mainly EE of course. But the same has been true for years wrt FTTx apparently. I didn't know that. The cabinets don't count as core.

My broadband basic info/help site - Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Three 4G, tbb tests 35-45Mpbs down, 9-15 up.
If you never think of anything off the wall, you'll never think of anything original.
