Three 4G Broadband

[link to this post]

I have recently joined Three 4G Broadband.
I have been having problems with good download speed but very sluggish website loading. I want to use LTEInspecteur but it needs my Router username. I have tried my 3 broadband phone number, the ip address of the router, admin and son on. Any ideas anybody?

Should be admin for most, but what router are you using.

Huawei B535-232

It's definitely not admin, I've tried that

The Three HomeFi routers all seen to be accessed by simply going to 192.168.8.1 and entering the admin password. There is no obvious username even when you examine the full GUI contents.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Three 4G, tbb tests normally 35-45Mpbs down, 65Mbps off-peak, 9-24 up.

Try https://tiny.cc/HuaweiMonitor (direct download by the way)

Or the page where i found the download in case you want to check it out first.

https://oga83.github.io/HuaweiMonitor/

Once downloaded and extracted to a folder...

Open the program from the folder
Type your router ip address in. Probably 192.168.8.1
Username: admin
Password: Whatever you set it as (The one you log into the router page with)
Method being API . Auto didn't work for me for some reason.

Once logged in. Head to configuration tab, then radio on the secondary tab. Pick your upload band and select whatever download bands may be available to you. In my case, 1800+800 and click apply and save.

Had to start using this program when i moved on from the AI Cube as LTEinspector didn't work with my b535. This program fortunately does though.

Thank you! I'm in!
I've set Upload to 800 Mhz and download to 1800 Mhz . Is this the right way round?

Glad it worked!

I have my upload set to 1800. The difference in upload speed is night and day. Though that will vary from person to person given a lot of factors. Try 1800 upload and 800+1800 download.

You may also have B32 available 1400mhz (unlikely) but worth a try. Same with B1 2100mhz. I'm not sure what bands the b535 can aggregate but if B1 is available for you try B1 2100+B3 1800 on the download.

And, or 1800+1400 or 2100+1400. They probably won't work though.
