Identifying which mobile mast

[link to this post]

Using network cell info light I get the following designation for the cell tower I'm connected to:
umts/23415/551/7344767/506
I've tried to identify this mast with cellmapper.net but can't.
Any suggestions? The location is close to West Marden in West Sussex.

UMTS is a 3G signal. There are not many people using cellmapper with a 3G phone, so there isn't much data. Which network SIM did you have in the phone?
Assuming you are on Android phone, try Cellmapper, or NetMonster, both of these are free, and will show a 4G (LTE) cell site by its eNB number.
They will show 3G signals by CellID, on EE typically a 5 digit number.

If you have a 4G phone there appears to be an EE mast right in the middle of the village, and O2 is close by. Those masts may be shared by Vodafone and Three, but there is no data on Cellmapper.

Thanks, I'll try putting cellmapper on my phone. My phone has an EE sim. Will let you know how it goes. Richard

I am not familiar with the app you used, but 234 15 looks like the network code for a Vodafone signal unless it’s a coincidence. EE signals use network code 234 30.

Just playing with the Network Cell Info Lite, which is quite informative. Which screen did you take those numbers from? Were you on the map screen? Trying to connect the data from this app with any other app I've used. Its very colourful !
