Three 5G Masts in Telford

[link to this post]

I was wondering why it taking so long not to boardcast it yet as Masts in Sutton Hill, Halesfield, Park Inn, Dawley, Randlay and Aqueduct remain inactive. There is two masts to be waiting installing in Wellington by Princess Royal Hosptal in March.

Are Three wait for final push switch on?

Connections: OnePlus 8 Pro on Three 4+ (LTE)/5G and at home Three Mobile, with (Three)ZTE MF286D router giving about 113/20Mbps.

Butting in, my DNS, Quad9, flagged it as possible malware also.

Not saying that it is or it isn't, but it seems to have got on a list for some reason.

Installing a streetworks pole in the ground is only one of many steps. There may be a 6 month delay for power, or for the 10Gigabit connection back to the network core. (This is not related to the PON fibre technology used for domestic broadband and discussed elsewhere on this site).

Planning sites at local councils can tell you when physical works take place (installing the pole) but there is no way to find out why a streetworks site is not active yet.

Interesting you have so many, here there are 3 proposed, with planning permission, that have not been installed.

Maybe Three are waiting to find out if the will be allowed to merge with Vodafone.

security being the only reason[kinda mostly].

bit like fibre networks - you see the cbt or the giant (or not so giant) spool of fibre, but you don't see the exchange work or miss the splitter being dropped into the ground etc.

could be done for any rejection of the others.
