Park Street, Madeley new PoW mast installed by Three, There is no panel on top but probably later this year to put 5G panels on it. Not sure if this mast is 5G or 4G only?

Can't tell until the panels are installed. Equipment cabinets could contain any radio units. You might find more on the local council planning information website.

Almost certainly a 5G monopole mast. They don't have external panels. We have several around here including the one that serves me. All those cabs at ground level look identical to ours.

I see little point in them installing only 4G in them.

Connections: OnePlus 8 Pro on Three 4+ (LTE)/5G and at home Three Mobile, with (Three)ZTE MF286D router giving about 113/20Mbps.

Some do, some don't.. the ones that don't appear to probably have the panels (standard and Massive MIMO) hidden behind fibreglass shroud. Also quite possible for different parts of the UK to have different pole manufacturers.

The two planned for my town to be deployed in October have not yet been installed.

Possibly just some older ones have visible panels?

I think the MMIMO panels don’t do as well covered.
The traditional panels work fine.

Phase 8 was common, this could be phase 9 or later.

Planning docs from council will tell you exactly.

IIRC all those in this area are less than 12 months old. I can probably check speed test dates on my phone if I remember after a night's sleep.

Our council is refusing almost every request for permission to stick these things up, but they will be a lot taller than that one.

Three at one point had planning applications in for nearly 2000 new poles. Probably because they have 100 MHz of spectrum at the 3.5 GHz band, which has low reach, but high capacity. So many more masts needed to use this indoors.
