1pMobile IPv6

[link to this post]

Has anyone had any success getting IPv6 working on 1pMobile, or any other EE-based MVNOs?

IPv6 seems to be fully working on Lycamobile, admittedly IPv4 issues are now occurring but it doesn't surprise me

Lyca have a real chance of being shut down if the press is right. And the problem there is what any numbers issued by them will also be shut down even after being ported.

Maybe they should have paid their tax rather than spend money on IPv6?

the numbers if original lyca (never ported before being lyca) will stay on the current EE network as they are now. and will be transfered to whoever you request they get ported too

Not sure if I'm brave enough to try Lyca given their recent loss of credit card details (although they refuse to admit it!) and their poor financial position, which probably isn't helped by recently losing a case against HMRC.

Don't do it.

RUN!!

I gave them a shot but damn, it was an endless box of SURPRISE!

5G gone: surprise

WiFi calling no longer works: surprise

Top up not gone through but money charged: surprise

Voicemail erroring: surprise

FaceTime and iMessage no longer activated: surprise

No SMS coming through: surprise

Every single call resulted in "we have sent it to the relevant team who will fix within 24 hours." They seem unaware of how long 24 hours actually is. Complain? Oh "give us 24 hours." laugh

Sounds familiar LOL The Facetime and iMessage is expected and normal on all operators though, each switch causes it to deactivate, at least in my experience.

By Any chance voicemail that just keeps ringing but doesn't actually record?

The E-SIM scandal was a good one when they flat out told me they turned off my E-Sim and sent me one as they decided to stop the service as there were "issues".

Many Thanks,
