Don't understand why they put two 5G panels. I thought it should be four 5G panels? If it was just 2 panels sound like very poor installed! I can see 2 panels facing towards to Madeley Tesco. That's is poor designer!

I did ask the engineer what has happening to 5G mast not active yet in Aqueduct, they say there is issues there and need to go back to take 5G panels off next few months.
Really useless Three!

Antennas aren't technology-specific, they're frequency specific. Have you got a link to the planning drawings or antenna schematic?

Still no sign of this mast active broadcaster yet. The Aqueduct mast 5G still struggling not getting over 150Meg yet. Just awful from Three between Madeley and Aqueduct is rubbish service for a year now.

150mb is not awful!

150mb is not awful!
Its likely not 5G yet, as that is a still a very good speed for 4G on EE or Three.
Max will keep us entertained until the speeds get to the 800 Mbps+

Three has finally updated on their coverage as Aqueduct side get a better coverage map but sadly they cannot reach most of south around Woodside/Madeley is lack of coverage.
I do think Three will have to bring new 2 x 5G 20m high mast by Madeley Academy Castlefields Way TF7 5FB and by Parkway, Telford TF7 5RQ later this year to bring in better coverage around in Woodside and Madeley.

150 is only when you closer to the mast. Where I live getting 90/27 5G because the mast too far away from Aqueduct.

EE pretty very good in my area getting 380/65 (7am to 12am) then 135/125 (12am to 7am) but sadly EE don't offer Unlimited Data. The higher data get is 650GB per month.

Is anything actually truly “unlimited” - they all have some FUP policy or other.
I signed my teenagers up to Mozillion (a newish EE-based MVNO) the other day, as it’s unlimited data, text, calls for what works out to be £10 per month for 2 years.
My 16 year old tested it and was astonished he could get just over 700 Mpbs in download and tenth of that in upload. Previously he had a 12 month plan from Three for the same money, but throughput and more importantly decent coverage were no where near as good as EE.

I have joined Mozillion but I have cancelled it because their policy are not allowing in any broadband router device, you can ask them but I am 100% sure it not allow in any mobile broadband router!

Check with Ofcom as that is against the Code of Practice, and why Three no longer has an issue with voice SIMs in data devices (including tablets).

11. Fair Use Policy
11.1. Calls, texts and data:
Mozillion airtime plans are based on reasonable assumptions of average personal mobile usage considering comparable statistics from comparable service providers in the UK. In case of abnormal, abusive, fraudulent or unreasonable usage is detected, Mozillion reserves the right to suspend the availability of the airtime plan, increase the price of any plan, move the subscriber to a different airtime plan and/or disconnect the SIM, having attempted to contact you first. Such usage may include but is not limited to usage of plans in permanent roaming (or with abnormally high roaming compared to national usage), regular tethering to several different devices, abnormally high usage compared to industry standards, use of unauthorised equipment (including but not limited to “SIM boxes”, modems, and Wi-Fi routers), or any other excessive usage on a given plan for a significant period.
11.2. Unlimited Data Fair Use Policy
In addition to the above fair use policies and guidelines, Mozillion considers usage to be for personal use only, and therefore and have the right to apply traffic management controls to deprioritise the subscriber's mobile traffic or reduce speeds and/or to move the subscriber to a more suitable plan if applicable. Mozillion reserves the right to modify these policies and guidelines at any time.

Is anything actually truly “unlimited” - they all have some FUP policy or other. Most of them are around 600/650 GB per month. Mobile is not a replacement for fixed line for high usage. Quite a good table halfway down this page of fair usage policies.

In my neighbourhood we have an EE and Three mast, but 4G only. During the pandemic EE had engineers upgrading the panels, it now gives around 200 Mbps. There are two Three 5G masts in town, and one area that shows EE 5G but speeds are 80 Mbps by railway line. (I think must be a fault, or I'm on the wrong price plan).
Waiting for 5G to get here... guess by end of 2026 along with Openreach FTTP

Tis just for their phones. So the router is irrelevant.

I wonder if Three are dragging their heels due to the impending merger?
Ironically Vodafone upgraded my local mast to 5G and I got exactly the same speeds as when it was 4G, around 120Mbit sat next to the mast.
Three on the other hand I was getting almost the same speed as Gigabit FTTP, though certainly not the same reliability. Its also about half that now as presumably more people move over to 5G.

Telford is a large town of 155,000 but I live in an area of 3 towns of 200,000 and we have no 5G from Vodafone or EE. So you're not last, and we are 30 miles from Heathrow.

I don't know why the mast isn't active yet in Madeley? I can see Three updated coverage for 5G in Aqueduct but limit to 150/150 down and up for some reason. Went to both area today (Park Street Madeley very poor no 5G yet) and Aqueduct (I believed 5G is a lied, more likely 4G+ 150/150)

I'm in Madeley, on 3 and bizarrely when 3 had it's issue last week with calls not working, I did get a 5G logo on my phone. I should have tried a speed test! When everything started working again it was back to 4G.

Don't think Madeley isn't very good on 5G lately. Three seem very slow to get it rolled out and still issues on 4G. Dreadful service

Look like Madeley 5G PoW by Andy's Fish Bar stood up and no active yet for 7 months and counting! Really frustrating - look like they are waiting for full fibre in this area before the 5G mast finally switched on. I bet not until 2026!

I just been to Madeley Park Street 5G mast and testing it. The signal pick up 5G by around Andy's Fish Bar as the signal revert back to 4G+ by Madeley Cricket Club and bottom of tiny roundabout before Madeley Tesco. The 5G is too weak for further distance. Overall disappointment.
The test for 4G+ is very poor

The test for 5G NR is capped limit to 120Meg down but uncapped for upload. The same as Aqueduct 5G as it seem Three put capped on 120Meg as a throttling speed. How disappointed.

Seem both Aqueduct and Madeley 5G NR is capped and short distance. Really waste of time. Both 4G+ never go over 60Meg download.
