Netgear DG834PN

Could anybody advise me what settings I need to put into my Netgear router for 8Mb BT Total Broadband. My BT HomeHub has died and although they are sending a replacement I would rather use my Netgear. Although I can connect I am getting a lot slower speed than on the HomeHub.

you'll need to make sure u are running the correct firmware in order to get it working with adsl2
my 834g wont work with the latest firmware but it will work with the version below that which thankfully works with 8mb BB so id advise dloading all of the firmwares before u upgrade and also do a backup of your routers settings
