BTHomeHub to Netgear DG834Gv2 (wirelessly) ?

[link to this post]

I'm looking to connect my PC to a BT Home Hub unit, wirelessly via an Netgear DG834Gv2.

I cant even figure how to go about it, looking through the netgear's control panel I can't see anything clearly designed for the purpose - like all the guides etc I've searched through it's all set up with the idea of plugging the router into a phone line.

After adding MAC and SSID, I did manage to get the HomeHub showing up on the Netgear's devices list, but that's about it.

I realise it's probably easier to buy a wireless PCI card but it seems a bit of a waste, and means more messing around with the PC. Going by eithernet into the router seems more secure too.

Any pointers?

I don't think the DG834 can operate as a wireless bridge so it's a non-starter.

Comms is hard
