Can't connect to work VPN from home (Orange Livebx

Hi all,
we have a checkpoint firewall at work and I use CheckPoint SecureClient to connect to it. It doesn't work from home where I have a wireless connection from laptop to Orange Livebox. However, without changing any settings on my laptop it works from a friend's house with his AOL broadband and wireless network.

It is probably related to a second problem --- we use hosted Microsoft Exchange for email etc. When I am at my friend's house Outlook 2007 can connect to exchange so that any new mail I receive instantly appears in Outlook. But when I open Outlook at home it cannot connect to the remote exchange server.

not all routers (especially home verisons) will pass VPN, and in some cases it works wired but not wireless. Quickest solution would be to get a known compatible router.
