Networking a Printer

Can anyone please tell me how to set up my computer to see a HP Laser Jet 5N connected to a
Netgear 834PN router. I can see the printer on the router attached devices at IP address 192.168.0.6. My operating system is Windows XP.

Settings > printers > add printer > next > local printer (untick plug and play) > create a new port > standard tcp/ip port > next > type ip address > next > select printer type > done!

The crucial bit is that it's a local printer and you need to add a new port pointing at the IP address of the JetDirect in the printer.

Comms is hard
