ST585v6 or DG834Gv3

Speedtouch 585v6 or Netgear DG834Gv3?

Any opinions on which router would be better for home use with an ADSL Max connection and a block of 8 fixed IPs? Would either one of them allow me to use NAT on one of the IPs but no-NAT on the others?

And generally, are there any notable differences between these two models in terms of features, reliability, signal, configuring, etc?

Also, I can't find either of these exact models in any shops (there are other 'DG834' routers but the next bit of the model number varies and they cost a lot more so I don't know what the difference is?) so is DSL Source a well respected online trader?

I also see that the same company sell used and B-grade stock through DSL Depot, and have the ST585v6 for half price (including postage). Does anyone have experience of buying these items? Do they tend to fail quickly or am I likely to get a dodgy transmitter that fries me or drops the connection every 10 minutes?

I don't know the exact Speedtouch box but I hve found that sometimes Thomson kit is good and other times it ain't so good. Netgear on the other hand I have found to be excellent at all times..
