Not blocking sites

I have the DG834GT
108 Mbps Super Wireless ADSL Router with 4-Port 10/100 Switch and since ive updated the fw from Version 1.01.00 straight to Version 1.02.09 i cannot block any sites with or without "Allow Trusted IP Address to Visit Blocked Sites" turn on or off? any ideas people.
