NETGEAR DG834G

I have just subscribed to SKY's broadband service and as part of the deal they have supplied me with the above wireless router. I have tried to configure it with my laptop but it constantly states that it is acquiring network address!!!!!!!!!

Anyone care to help me??????

have you put the WEP or WPA code into your laptop (assuming its a secure connection) ?
