ASUS Wireless + Virgin Cable Modem

[link to this post]

Please check out the thread I posted earlier in the Virgin cable forum...

http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=virgin_cable&Number=3394034

Basically, I've got a Virgin cable modem, with which I can connect to the internet directly via a CAT5 cable--which is how I am connected now--but I am trying to get it working through an ASUS WL-520GU/GC wireless router and having no success, sadly.

I'm convinced the wireless is ok, because I can happily connect two PCs together through it, so it should be just a matter of getting the router to connect to the modem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update:

It's all working ok now. I rebooted everything umpteen times last night, and nothing worked. Switched it all on this morning and it's all forking fine!

*Sigh* I wish I understood this kind of stuff better...
