Virgin Media 50mb and Belkin N1 Vision

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of anyway to get my Belkin N1 Vision router to work with my Virgin Media 50mb modem? I've had a 10mb connection working perfectly, and would like to use my own router rather than the Netgear they supply.

However the Belkin doesn't detect any Internet connection (although it does know it's plugged into a modem) when I try and use it with the new 50mb modem.

I've tried power cycling everything and cloning the MAC address of the Netgear onto the Belkin but now I'm at a bit of a loss.
