Great Broadband Speed - Slow Page Loads

I have a fantastic broadband connection - videos and downloads are fine and fast - but webpages load incredibly slowly.

This happens across 2 computers (a brand new MacBook Pro and a good Windows XP machine). It also happens across all browsers (firefox,chrome,safari,IE).

We have a ActionTec GT701-WG wireless router and use UK Online as our broadband provider. We connect both computers wirelessly.

I am normally quite good at solving issues like this - I am quite techy - but this one has completely stumped me!

Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

Are you using wired or wireless connections to the router? As a test, have you tried substituting default DNS servers with say, OpenDNS?

Should have read:
Can you use a wired connection to the router as a test?

If it was just your windows machine I would have suggested going into the following folder and clearing it out as it's only meant to hold the file there as a temp measure.

C:\Documents and Settings\Craig\Local Settings\Temp

I've just pulled the details off from one of my machine. You may have to change your windows settings to show hidden folders as the Local Settings folder is hidden.
