Printer problems

[link to this post]

I have a HP C7280 all in one wireless printer.

It's connected wirelessly to a Belkin Router and 2 desk tops are wired to the router.

The router is on 24/7. The desktops and the printer are switched off at night.

Whenever I start the printer it shows as connected on the router but will not print.
I always have to turn it off, then back on and then it works.

Any ideas why?

Cheers

Andy

is it failing to get an IP address the first time round ? (print its network config or try pinging it).

I'm going to mirror Yarwell here and suggest it is the Belkin Router not giving an IP address.

For some reason a belkin router I have will not give out an IP address over wireless ~50% of the time.

Either set a static IP for the printer.

Or wire it up.
