OK I did a search and used Google to search this site and couldn't find an answer for this one so apologies if its been asked before. My retired mother has just bought a laptop and I want to get it on wireless for her. She's with Virgin Cable so no ADSL products. She's not on a package that qualifies for a free router and she'll never move to another provider.
Since I bought my last Router it looks like "N" routers are the ones to get as they appear to have increased signal strength, that would be handy because the cable comes in upstairs and she's downstairs most of the time. Personally I've always bought Netgear routers, I don't know much about the other brands. I need something that's:
01. Moderately priced.
02. Easy to set up.
03. Virgin Cable compatible.
04. "N" series.
05. Reliable.
06. Has 2+ ethernet sockets.
Guess that's it. Grateful for any suggestions and sorry if its been asked, feel free to point me to other threads if its been answered.
