Homeplug through travel adaptor

Has anyone tried using uk homeplug adaptors in europe using travel socket adaptors? As the voltage is the same, I think they should work, I just wondered if anyone has had experience of this, and whether the use of the travel adaptors severely reduced performance.

Should work, would recommend that they were the single use type of adapter rather than the multi-country jobs. The major factor could be the standard of wiring in the property.

you can get 'continental' versions of the powerline adaptors, but use though an adaptor should not be a problem, except for them being more likely to fall out of the sockets.

also 3 phase to the home is more common so may have issues there.

I've done it the other way round, ie European Powerline plug into UK socket.

Works fine. I wound up using a cable tie to hold the two things together, though.
