Uptime stats on TP-Link TD-W8950ND router

I�ve just set up a new TP-Link TD-W8950ND router as a means of troubleshooting sync drops. My problem is I can�t find anywhere on the router interface that reports whether the router is holding the line or disconnecting from the exchange. This is all I can locate:

Mar 15 12:27:08 daemon err user: TR69C: Unable to determine External IP Connection Parameter Name

Furthermore, I can�t telnet the router!
