dhcp NetGear dgn2000 unable to get working well

I have 2 NetGear d g n 2000 routers that use to work perfectly in bridge mode but now don't work that welltogether i have disabled all d h c p settings on both routers but am having little success.

on the computer the emails won't transfer across the bridge.
the print server is unable to get an IP address.

other than that the computer can browse the Web way slower than what it use if art

this set up was working until i moved the router from the TV back to is original location.

I'd put the settings back to the working settings of you remember them.

Are you using the devices wired or wirelessly? Does it work normally when you put the setup back as before?

that is what I have trued to do but there is one or 2 settings that I can not remember which is bringing everything down.
going to factory reset if no joy soon.
the 2 units are supposed to link 2 network segments together.
segment 1 is wired with 3 desktop computers, the main router with internet access. one dgn2000.
segment 2 is linked wirelessly to segment 1 to bring internet access to the lounge computer and the print server into the LAN.

hope this explains the set up.

so i have been thinking that i should replace on of the units. what I was thinking was i would replace one of the units.
. if i get a wireless extender it should connect the usb printer via the" usb to network" adapter i already have?

hi all the solution is to get a wireless extender as this has connected the devices together and no further problems. and it took less that ten mins to get it out of box and set up and working.
thanks all for ur useful comments. wds is too hard to setup and maintain in comparison.
