internet light off

Hi been on this forum a month ago with slow speeds, now my orange internet has dropped again and internet light not lighting on the router but adsl light on. I have my router into my main phone socket a filter and 2 new cables, my laptop shows connected but adsl light out on router is out.....im sure it on orange issue not at my end.....wireless connects on my phone but no web.....adsl light on internet light off. My prev fault

Sounds like then you are connected to the local exchange, but the authentication in the network is failing, thus giving no ongoing connection to the internet.

Presume you have tried restarting the modem?

Does router keep a log? Does log say "LCP down" and/or "CHAP authentication failed"?

If so, you are failing to authenticate onto Orange (BT)'s network.
