VPN Problem - Dropping connection when wireless

I work from home sometimes and log into my company's VPN. Started having problems after changing my router - everything ok if I connect with ethernet cable but VPN keeps dropping every 10 - 15 mins when using wirelessly (Thompson TG585 v8 router)

Any suggestions re an easy fix or should I just get a new router (if so any suggestions)?
