Wireless on Android phone

Is there a reason my Android phone wireless sometimes dies? It connects, but wont pass data. No IP conflict or anything, and all other wireless devices on the network connect and work fine. Rebooting router fixes it, just weird its always the phone that it happens to

is that dying or not connecting properly ? I found that a phone of mine would make a Siemens router reboot every time it connected, so that wasn't a whole lot of use either.

It will connect fine, passing data ok then at some point in the day stop working and not pass data. Then if I disconnect and reconnect it cant authenticate while other devices still can

Try changing the channel its connecting to.

When i had a DLink 615 router and a HTC Wildfire i had a similar issue on channel 6.

On your android phone have you made sure "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep" is set to "Always"?

Yea, like i said it doesnt do it all the time, just now and again.

After 2 months from the original problem, ive noticed that on the 23rd/24th of every month my phone refuses to connect to my router without a reboot. What a strange issue

hi i use tethering a lot and it used to randomly stops working i forced my PC to use google DNS (8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4) and since then no matter how long i tether for it works perfectly, on my home connection my router dishes the google DNS out auto but when tethering i force it maybe try this and see if it helps
