Hi,
I have an issue with BT claiming that the monthly data usage on an infinity connection is very high (around 60Gb a month). Having checked all devices on the LAN etc, the data usage is more like 10Gb a month. I need to be able to monitor better the data usage of each device on the LAN.
So given that these days there are PCs/Android/Apple/Xbox/TV ect devices all using the same connection, I want to be able to monitor internet data usage based on IP or MAC address in a home environment. The current router in use is the standard BT
Home Hub, so I want to replace it with a router that can provide details on data usage per device (without requiring a Syslog Server etc.).
Anyone have any suggestions of routers that can do this? Or maybe some device you can put in line to monitor?
cheers
PT
