Two network connections

I asked this question before but can no longer find it! Basically I have a friend who has a his internal network card connected to a bit of machinery but he wants to also access the internet using a wifi connection. When he tries to get online its obviously using the network connection rather than the wireless one so he cant access anything.

I have solved this before by doing something to the default gateway but I cant for the life of me remember what I did!

Any help greatly appreciated!

One assumes the two networks are using different IP ranges.

Simplest would be to remove the gateway from internal network card details. So for any Internet activity it would go via the wireless.

Where is says Default Gateway remove the settings, make a note of what was there, just in case you break something and need to put it back.
