Bought a replacement AC adapter for laptop but don't know i

I have an Asus Vivobook, the charger's very [censored], breaks easily. This is my second one that's broken, so this time I got a replacement charger. I'm not good with all the technical info, but on my normal charger that is now broken it says:

Input - 100 - 240v - 50/60Hz - 0.8a
Output: 19v - 1.75a

On the replacement charger it says:
Input 100 - 240v - 50/60Hz - 0.9a
Output: 19v - 3.42a

I don't really know if I can use the replacement charger - I have no idea what's supposed to be the same, please can someone help, thank you!

Looks the same. It can run a bigger laptop than yours, so as long as it comes with a uk plug and the other end fits your laptop, then you are ok.

The requirements for a replacement power supply are that:

1) the input voltage is the same (ok)

2) the output voltage is the same (ok)

3) the output current of the new one is not less than the original (ok)

So yours is fine.

If it's not explicitly intended for a specific device you also need to check that the connector size and polarity are the same, but that's not a problem in your case.

Maybe not

Check that the polarity of the laptop connector tip is correct and also note that it seems to be from Australia so delivery might be slow and there could be customs duties due.
