The best 3rd-party firmware for hundreds of different routers has a new release. Lots of improvements in this release.
One that may be of interest to UK FTTC/FTTP customers is support for RFC 4638, so you can have a 1500 byte MTU on your PPPoE connection.
Information on setting up RFC 4638 can be found here, and adding support for Youview's multicast channels can be found here. You may need to alter things slightly to suit your router's configuration.
