Can't ping - Virgin Super Hub 2

Recently installed a Virgin Media Superhub 2 as a WAP upstairs. It's working brilliantly, far better than my BT HH5 but there is one problem, I can't ping external addresses when connected to it.
Firewall is disabled etc, any idea what it could be?
