Thanks. I managed to get my TG582n to work with changeip.com by editing the configuration file. I think changeip.com are the last truly free DNS service. Noip.com requires a monthly confirmation if you want to keep it active without paying.

Thank you for pointing that out. I do wonder what the relationship is between the router manufacturer and the DDNS services. The DDNS services would want to limit the number of DDNS alternatives that a router manufacturer provides as that would
make it more likely that they could sell their service to the router purchaser.
