I actually prefer sleeves, although would use tape if it was available in narrow 6mm widths rather than 19mm.

Unfortunately, rather expensive for occasional use.

Also the inclusion of "Green" as probably a brand name is rather misleading.

I was thinking of more general use than wiring, such as pipework, handles etc, that the usual sizes of number sleeves either would simply not fit on a diameter basis; and also may be difficult/impossible to slip a sleeve on to.

My thanks however, as it does show that it exists.

I've just found numbered tape (0-9) in a dispenser, 5mm wide, but unfortunately it doesn't meet your colour coding requirement.

I might order some myself.

I came across those when looking to see if they made large diameter ident sleeves - but cannot find them. I am sure someone makes them in various diameters.

I used these ones before and they're reasonably easy to work with but 2 have failed so I'm wondering if quality/reliability is an issue.

I have come across rather too many of those that have been the cause of problems, like just about everything, you only get what you pay for.
