One device won't connect

I use a BT Home Hub 6 to connect several devices (iPads etc) & one PC. All wifi devices connect to Internet without problem but recently the PC won't connect to Internet neither via usual Ethernet nor wifi. I can access the admin page of BT Hub6 but not Internet. I have tried ipconfig/flushdns > ipconfig/registerdns > ipconfig/release > ipconfig/renew with no change.
I previously tried noip on my PC but have uninstalled. I also tried system reset back to when PC was connecting and before recent various auto updates & again zilch.
Any help welcomed
I use win 10 with Windows Defender,360 total security & Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit which played well together until now. I have also tried to close these but still can't get past HH6

Try a reset of the TCP/IP stack as follows:-
Run a Command Prompt as administrator
At the command prompt, run the following commands
1. Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
2. Type netsh int ip reset and press Enter.
3. Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
4. Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
Then check to see if that fixes your connection problem

I had tried these steps before without success.
I repeated again (including restart where required after windsock reset) but despite this again no success. I did a Windows Network Diagnostic check & got same error message “ The DNS server isn’t responding “ & “Your computer is trying to use a DNS server that is incorrect or doesn’t exist”.
I have VirtualBox installed so as well as Ethernet & Bluetooth network connections listed there is also a VirtualBox Host-Only connection listed.
The Ethernet connection up addresses (after windsock etc) shows only an IPv6 address whilst VirtualBox has both IPv4 & IPv6 addresses. The IPv6 addresses are different but both start fe80 .
Getting more & more perplexed so any ideas welcome

My Ethernet lan connection 3 shows:-
Connection specific DNS Suffix:Home
IPv4 address: 192.168.1.96
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway:196.168.1.254

VirtualBox Host-Only Network 2 shows:-
Connection Specific : nothing
Link local IPv6 Address:fe80etcetc
Autoconfig Ipv4 Address:169.254.75.44
Subnet Mask:255.255.0.0
Default Gateway: nothing

I had already disabled IPv6 in Connection 3 (lan cable)
Also autoconfig disabled ditto
Hope this makes sense

Which firewall are you using, Windows or a 3rd party?

As you aren't using IPv6 on your LAN adapter, it might be a idea to also disable IPv6 on the virtual adapter too.

I take it the Default Gateway is a typo. Should be 192.168.1.254 to be on the same subnet as IPv4 address

I use standard windows firewall and can access BT HH6 hub manager
