Orbi Fibre 900

Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone could help, I have an Orbi RBR50 and recently upgraded to fibre 900 with BT however I am only getting ~500Mbps download but getting a good 150Mbps upload in router mode. When changing to AP mode and putting the smarthub 2 in the middle with wifi disabled I get ~900Mbos as expected. Any suggestions if the Orbi is capable of delivering the full bandwidth when using PPPOE. I would prefer to just have the one box by the ONT but if it does require 2 then so be it smile
I have tried a factory reset and ensuring none of the bloatware is enabled with no luck. Firmware is version 2.5.1.16. Speedtest's have been done using the in app tester.
