Draytek 2762ac slow wireless

[link to this post]

Hey,

I have an issue with wireless on my draytek router. When accessing anything over wifi it is really slow and patchy. General web browsing is "ok" but when browsing e.g my cctv cameras from my phone it's sketchy. Also when streaming over the tellybox occasionally it will buffer. Wired is ok.

I've tried using an old plusnet router and the supplied BT smart hub and annoyingly the WiFi on these is great. This is using the same WiFi security (wpa2), same key and same channels and both 2.4 and 5ghz radios. So I am minded to think the problem lies with the draytek.

I searched TBB and found a thread which suggesting turning on QoS, setting maximum rate and then turning it off again but this didn't really do anything.

What else could I look at?

Thanks! smile

A full factory reset after you've upgraded it to the latest stable firmware. Test with several devices to make sure its not an odd but specific device/wireless router compatibility issue.
