Router with device bandwidth monitor

[link to this post]

Can anyone recommend an inexpensive router that has a per device bandwidth monitor built-in? I'm currently using a Fritz Box 7530 which monitors bandwidth but as a whole rather than a device by device basis.

I believe the BT Smart Hubs have the exact thing I'm looking for (Example) but they are locked to BT.

I believe some Asus models do this and have found some on eBay second hand for a couple of quid but I don't know which models have this feature.

Any help would be great, thanks

Not a router but I use the Ubiquiti portal looking at the cloud key controllers which drills down into this level of detail for each access point on the network, and each wireless client (or wired client if its a Ubiquiti wired switch).

Alternatively for everything else wired I just log into the management portal of my switches.

Perhaps not exactly what your looking for, but works quite well nevertheless.

Or just a local Ubiquiti Deream Machine.

To the OP - there is a massive amount of detail available with Ubiquiti. Not only can I see how much data each device has used, it can also give details about te applications in use, for example looking at Streaming Media, I can see Ch5, YouTube, iTunes, Netflix, ...

To add to this - If you have Unifi APs you can run the controller as a VM on your NAS for example or even on your router if it is pfSense/OPNSense.

pfSense/OPNSense also both have very comprehensive tools for this as expected - https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/how-tos/insight.html
