Which are the best Third Party routers for PlusNet Fibre

[link to this post]

Hi Everyone,

I’m just after some advice about routers. I’m helping to help my friend out here.

My friend is with PlusNet and has a PlusNet Hub One router with fibre Broadband. He wants to buy a Third-party Router. He wanted to know which Third parties routers are suitable for PlusNet so that he can replace his PlusNet Hub One router.

Please can someone recommend me a decent Third-party router that is compatible with PlusNet Fibre Broadband?

Cheers

Why is there a desire to replace the Plusnet router? What is the benefit if any that is sought?

He must have a reason for replacing it. If so what are those requirements?

If the OP wanted to improve wireless performance then I would recommend adding a wireless hub and keeping the isp provided router for example. A reason might not be a good reason.
