I have the Technicolor DGA4134 (Trooli supplied) as a Wifi Router for my FTTP service.
I've independently bought 2x Technicolor OWA0131 extenders which seem to happily join the main router via the EasyMesh (wifi, not wired). This might have been overkill.
I've stuck one of them up in the loft space and the other sort of inbetween (router is on ground floor).
Looking at the current network topology on the admin interface they are both connected back to the main router (via Wifi). The one in the loft has an OK signal ("amber") and the one inbetween is "green". I was expecting them to automatically decide that they might be better off dasiy chaining themselves to give a better overall coverage (I sort of imagine this is what mesh does).
Am I overthinking this and the diagram is not what happens behind the scenes?
