Satellite broadband - Tooway or Avanti?

I am trying to get broadband to a cottage in Wales (no phone line anywhere near, and almost no mobile reception!). The choices seem to be:
(a) Tooway
(b) Avanti
(c) making friends with a farmer whose barn I can see about 2 km away, getting a phone line to there, then setting up a wifi link up the mountain side and paying him a bit each year for the privilege.

I've tried Exwavia but they don't cover my area (Snowdonia).

All the Tooway suppliers I talk to seem to say you get far more capacity for your money from them and that Avanti does not have good customer service and reliability; similarly, the Avanti suppliers say that their equipment is far higher quality and that you actually get what is promised whereas Tooway start to throttle your usage when you have only had half what you thought you had paid for!
I would really prefer to avoid the hassle of a DIY system - I want to just pay someone and have it work (preferably with a Welsh Assembly grant).

I would appreciate comments from any users of Tooway and Avanti systems (or DIY wifi links!). Are people generally happy or do they wish they had opted for the alternative supplier? Is there any noticeable difference in "quality"?

I'm confused, I thought it was Avanti that launched the HYLAS-2 satellite and it is that satellite that Tooway use to provide their satellite broadband.

To clear up a few points raised in the comment above, Tooway is the marketing branch / subsidiary for the French owned Eutelsat. Tooway sell their broadband through resellers, such as Tarium, Avonline & Bentley Walker to name a few. Avanti, a British company sells its broadband through partners and the trick is to find a good local partner.
As to the issue with throttling of bandwidth by Tooway, this isn't the case, all that is happening is that their service is already getting congested and over subscribed. This is not the case with Avanti.
As to the difference between the equipment, all Avanti installations are carried out by trained & accredited engineers as the alignment & commissioning of the satellite connection requires specialist knowledge and equipment. The Tooway equipment has been designed to be self installed, but as the whole system is cumbersome and heavy, shouldn't be attempted by oneself. Especially if climbing ladders is required. With personal experience in both systems, I would opt for Avanti every time.

Welsh grant is available to the individual - there are no Welsh Gov 'chosen suppliers' so pick the one you like the most - jump the Welsh Gov hoops - get your broadband.

With regard to instillation equipment, Tooway is very simple to install and provides customers with comprehensive instructions and an installation DVD, as well as a helpline, to ensure that self-installing is not a problem. In fact, because the process is so simple, around 30% customers opt for self-install.

Tooway also offers customers 18 Mb download and 6 Mb upload, whereas Avanti only offers 10.2 Mb down and 2 Mb upload max. Tooway has the capacity for 1,000,000 subscribers. Currently there are around 60,000 subscribers, so by no means is Tooway oversubscribed.
