Getting 259Mb/13Mb with 40ms latency (have seen 150Mb/8Mb as a low point).

In my HUMBLE OPINION, there is NO viable alternative to FIBRE TO THE HOME JUST LIKE MAN HAS ZERO INFLUENCE ON THE CO2 LEVELS SCIENCE FACT if you research properly

I am extremely interested in this statement. Could you please supply the links I need to research properly.

PS Hope you don't mind but I've only typed in justified case as I've always viewed posting in capitals as the modern day equivalent of the way that some people used to write letters to commentators and pundits with whom they violently disagreed using green ink.

Haven't had a problem in the rain, only issue has been the snowfall.
It has a heater that melts the snow off the dish, but it was just while it was falling

When I can, I'll be connected by a cable again. But there is no other viable fast solution here and since no-one else has posted their experience I thought I would share for others.

I moved from a property where I installed FTTPoD so am very aware of the differences!

I've had one brief outage due to very high rain fall in the last 15 months. Not the sort of rain we see often in the UK though.

I had that problem with Sky years ago, when snow used to settle on the dish and also when it poured down, I thought in this day and age these problems would have been sorted, certainly by Musk and his millions
