When I can, I'll be connected by a cable again. But there is no other viable fast solution here and since no-one else has posted their experience I thought I would share for others.

I had that problem with Sky years ago, when snow used to settle on the dish and also when it poured down, I thought in this day and age these problems would have been sorted, certainly by Musk and his millions
