Xilo (non LLU) - terrible performance?

As of the last couple of days, it seems that my internet connection has gone to pot. Getting 2Mbit/s is a real achievement, and if I attempt to download from most sites it goes much slower (<50KB/s) and stalls a lot.

My ADSL stats look fine (sync in the high 7000s, no errors) and the BT speedtest confirms that my IP profile is what it should be, so I don't think it is my end.

I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing a similar problem or if it is just me.

On Xilo Office 40 here and looks good to me:

This is from a 20CN line so pretty much maxing it out. I've only ever seen performance dip once at about 10pm, and then it only dipped by about 1/2Mbps, so still looking good to me.

I guess it may just be me then. I am trying to download a 300MB file and it is going along at the heady heights of between 50 and 200K (yes, it's that variable). It keeps stalling too.

BT broke my line (couldn't establish PPP session) last week, perhaps they've done something else to it too.

Ignore my first post. Have you told us about this? as I can't see any tickets similar.

Not yet (didn't want to pester you immediately), will do it now.

We actually prefer you "pester" us If we're not aware of it, we can't look in to it.

It could be a localised issue to your exchange, such as a hot VP, so the sooner we know, the sooner we can fix it.
