hi I was checking sam knows and I noticed a new name coming on the list.
C&W / Bulldog RFS 31/3/11

was wondering what does that mean please? will there be new providers etc

It means that you'll be able to get a LLU service from providers that use that equipment, like us and Tesco

Who is your provider at the moment and any reason you are looking to move away from them or are you just looking for a faster service?

with xilo at the moment.
service and speed are brilliant but the 75gb has become an issue.
ive been doing a lot of beta testing but also the family have a new pc upstairs and ive seen my usage really shoot up.

so at the moment im having to warn them about streaming from various places. the speed and service are first rate I think the 75gb might become a big issue because they really arent happy at the moment.

we also have an xbox going and they want to d.l stuff from there also and with streaming via sky player.im hoping because both are new it will settle down im upto 20gb already this month.but i know that would have been at least 30gb without stopping them.sky player has been streaming nearly all day somedays.

Have you not got Sky TV?

If you have it would be crazy not to consider them.

Guess i need a 55 mile long cat 5 cable... sucks being in a market 1 county paying thru the nose for slow speeds and low caps. Its always depressing to see more and more ISPs crowding into exchanges while other areas are ignored.. well apart from the rich kids playground up north that is about to get a wedge of cash.

I emailed C&W to ask if there was any likelyhood of them unbundling my exchange any time in the forseeable.. after a second attempt at getting a response I had a short piece of general B/s that didnt say anything with any clarity.

Drop us a line in March and we'll keep an eye on this for you and can then arrange a migration across with you
