C&W resellers, is there a list?

Hi, C&W LLU has recently appeared in my exchange and I'm thinking of moving onto it from ADSL max. Xilo & Vivaciti seem to get mentioned here a fair bit and seem to have good reps, but are there others I should consider? Thanks.

There are bound to be, but in five years here those are the only two I have heard of.

Whether you go to one of those, or search for a while for alternatives, you can be sure of one thing. It will be better than ADSL Max. Or at least with them it will. I obviously don't know about any others.

We (ADSL24( also provide the C&W service so if you have any queries about this product in particular let me know. We also have a free setup offer on at the moment.

As far as I know, Fast don't use C&W, the use Be.

We offer C&W LLU services too.

Although we have access to other LLU services in addition to C&W we don't offer them as the others carry contractual problems.

I would avoid Demon if I were you as it had T&C stated 24 months minimum contract!

I'm not one to move about but if I need to move from one C&W provider to another C&W provider would it be simple to do?

Yes and no.

Not all inter-migrations are supported but C&W are working on fixing this (it has only been a broken feature for nearly 2 years! with an estimated fix as of Dec 2009!)

So it's still unfixed - I ran up against it, and delayed my migration at that time.

Interesting thread, Hopefully I'll be able to upgrade soon, had date of 30th of June. But then again I think I've had a new date every month this year....

I'm in the process of getting ADSL24 to check with C&W to see if it's actually enabled. I suppose then I'll have to debate whether to stay with ADSL24 or move. Depends which offers the best price/monthly contract/migration fees and all that.

When is C&W 24 Meg Unlimited going to bring to Cuckoo Oak exchange ? No news yet since May 2010 from ADSL24 news ?

BT had now finally named all Telford & Wrekin area as a new 21CN WBC (ADSL2+) enabled dates this year !

Your exchange is also enabled for ADSL Max services
Your exchange should have ADSL2+ services installed by the 30th of September 2011

According to BT Wholesale, your phone line should be able to support

up to 2Mbps via ADSL
8Mbps or greater ADSL connection via ADSL Max
15Mbps or greater via ADSL2+
