Hi,
Just wondering if anybody is having or have had any LLU issues with Vivaciti Surfwise (OPAL) connections over the past few days?
i have had numerous occasions where my connection drops and will not auth even when the router is rebooted but will 6 - 7 hours later when the router has been rebooted about 5 - 10 times.
I called Vivaciti yesterday and they said they would look into it, about 6 or so hours later they said they knew of an issue and too keep rebooting the router until it auth'd and call for an update today as they hoped open reach would have checked the line by then.
I have tried to call them today and there phone lines seem to be dead, this is both the 0800 and the 01702 number provided on there website.
Any Ideas or Anybody experiencing the same issue???

Have you checked on http://www.talktalk.co.uk/service-status/ to see if there are any issues on the TT network?

I had checked that site yes, Not showing and issues for my exchange which is Yeovil (01935) unless it is affected by some other issue they do not list?

We've got quite a few lines on that exchange and all appear connected - longest being 5 weeks 3 days.
This could be an issue with your line specifically more than an local outage.

Right ok i'm not suprised 1 little bit at that i have had issues for a while with sync loss at night but as it's LLU i just reboot the router in the morning, Vivaciti have diagnosed this as a Electrical Interference Issue (as it's always the same time every night give or take 5 mins) SNR always looks fine to me but i can't see errors, interleaving was turned off upon my request and the connection has never disconnected during the day before now and always been stable.
My Current Stats Are:
ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 6199 kbps 1023 kbps
Line Attenuation 44.9 db 11.0 db
Noise Margin 5.0 db 11.0 db

Hmm..
Give these logins a try:
Username: [email protected]
Password: coretest
Username: [email protected]
Password: test
You'll get an IP but they won't pass any traffic. If you get an IP, you're logged in.
Go back to your normal user/pass, if you don't get an IP, looks like an ISP issue than Opal/TT.

Just tried those and neither worked. back to my settings now and the connection will not auth.

Sounds like a specific problem to your line, one that your provider will have to look in to for you.

Hi,
Apologies, it would seem there was an issue with our phone lines, this has now been resolved and the lines are working again.
