Xilo/ADSL24 FTTC

I'm looking at the Office FTTC packages from Xilo/ADSL24 and just wondering if anyone here has said service and what they think of it?

I have ADSL 24 for my FTTC and Xilo for my web hosting. Both are excellent, but Xilo's FTTC offerings would not suit me as ADSL 24 is truly unlimited during the off-peak hours (Xilo has a clear fair-use off-peak limit that is clearly displayed IIRC).

Both companies have EXCELLENT support so just look carefully at their offerings and see which suits you best - you will not go wrong with either company.

I assumed as the peak hours are the same, Xilo and ADSL24 are the same FTTC offering.

TBH I rarely go over 20GB/month and I doubt that would raise too much with FTTC.

They are NOT the same offering, look more closely .

The only information I can find (on the forums) suggest a 200GB limit.

They are both provided by the same wholesaler if thats any help, so service should be the same.

That's right.

It is still not easy to get to Xilo's FTTC pages. ADSL 24 is slightly more expensive, but with NO limit at the present. I like the freedom that that provides.

But, with the extra speed and all the content out there, 200GB can be used in a beat of a humming bird's heart .

As I said, you will be in very good hands with either company.

Our FTTC packages have no off-peak limits either and slightly cheaper.

I've been with Xlio for the past 12 months and it's a lot easier to go for there FTTC offering (I'm on a Tiscali tails connection and getting a MAC is a manual process and the exchange goes live on the 1st!).

I'm more interested in a stable connection with decent download speeds - i'm on a 1.5Mb connection with the wind blowing in the right direction. I rarely download more than 15GB/month, 200GB is quite a bit for me to abuse

edit: I notice for the Xilo package there's a minimum assurance of 12Mb..
